Scroll down to the bottom to see the archive list. Your Morrowind.ini should be in your Morrowind folder. This list of archives will not automatically update! Please check the TR_Readme.txt file, which is located in the Docs folder in 00 Core, about our optional masterfiles.ДЇor this tutorial, we will install files from 00 Core, 01 Faction Integration, 02 Preview Content, and 03 Travel Network for Core and Vvardenfell. Everything else is optional (and, if the folders start with the same number, mutually exclusive). You mustВ at the very least take out the files from the 00 Core folder and put them into the Morrowind Data Files folder. They are organised in the form of a BAIN Installer, intended to greatly decrease installation efforts with tools like Wrye Mash and MO2 and to offer a logical division between various options for all users. Inside your Data Files folder you should now see Tamriel_Data.esm, PT_Data.bsa, and TR_Data.bsa. WinRAR or 7zip are good programs to use for this. If you prefer using it, you should follow the instructions to install TR manually anyway and use it for other mods only.ДЇirst, unpack the datafiles into your Morrowind folder.

Please note that the Vortex mod manager will not install the files correctly, we strongly recommend against using it to install Tamriel Rebuilt.

This tutorial will only cover the manual installation process. Now that you have both the datafiles and masterfiles, you can either use a mod manager to install the mods, or do it manually. If you are having issues since updating to a new version, see the troubleshooting section below. If you had a version of TR prior to 16.09, we recommend starting a new game. If you have a previous version of TR installed, please remove it.

The Xbox Game Pass version has been reported not to work for installation in the normal engine.ДЄ fresh installation of Morrowind, with MCP and MGEXE If using Morrowind Code Patch, we further recommend Morrowind Graphics Extender. We require using either Morrowind Code Patch (for the map expansion option and engine bugfixes) or OpenMW. This is fine, as MCP also requires patch. If you have installed MCP (see below), this will read MCP 2.1 (or whichever version you have) instead. If youвЂ™re not sure if you patched it, load the game up to the main menu and check the lower left corner. If you have an older version of the GotY edition, which includes Tribunal and Bloodmoon but not the 1.6 patch, or even all three disks separately, you must download and install the patch from the Bethesda Softworks website. The Game of the Year (GotY) editions available on GOG, Steam,, and the Anthology DVD set already include patch. To properly use Tamriel Rebuilt (TR), we require you to have the english-language version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind installed, along with the Tribunal and Bloodmoon expansions, and the patch version.
